The ESRI User Conference is the largest event organised by ESRI for Geographic Information System (GIS) users, and is expected to draw approximately 15,000 international participants. The annual event brings together software developers, technical and training staff, as well as customer service support teams from organisations all over the world, and in more industries than is typically represented in a local or regional event.
DHI representatives from Denmark, the USA and Singapore will be sharing their experiences and exhibiting MIKE Powered by DHI’s products and services at the conference.
We will be speaking on the topic ‘Understanding Flood Risks: Novel Methods for Data Poor Regions’. The presentation will focus on some of the advancements that DHI has made in terms of probabilistic modelling of flood disasters, using only publicly available spatial data for data poor regions. Some of our work includes developing a flexible modelling framework that involves having geospatial scientists and water resource modellers work together to come up with novel solutions. The talk would be useful for people involved in disaster relief missions, insurance companies, as well as decision makers and master planners.
We will also be meeting with new and existing MIKE users at DHI’s exhibition booth. Come by booth #909 for our MIKE software demonstrations and to learn more about how our solutions can meet your needs.

automatically generated in ArcGIS, such that they can be directly used in MIKE Powered by DHI’s
