The Young Water Leaders Summit is a platform for an international community of young professionals engaged in the water sector to create collaborative networks with each other. With the aims of developing dialogue between them, the Summit spurs sharing of knowledge and expertise between members to create solutions for water issues plaguing the global world.

Organised by the Public Utilities Board, Singapore’s national water agency, the Summit will focus this year, on innovation, knowledge exchange and networking. The biennial event, which was inaugurated in 2014, gathered more than 100 selected participants from over 30 countries in 2014. At the Summit this year, high-level government leaders, heads of international organisations and industry will share their insights on social innovations and the developments of the changing global landscape of cities, water and environment. Speakers will also share ideas and plans in achieving a liveable, sustainable and resilient future, in-line with Singapore’s Smart City endeavour.
