Skupina studentů z IHE Delft Institute for water education navštívila dne 1. června 2022 sídlo naší společnosti. Studenti jsou zaměřeni na dva magisterské studijní programy - Hydroinformatika a Erasmus Mundus Řízení povodňových rizik. Počet zemí, které zastupovali jako skupina, je 28 - Ázerbájdžán, Bangladéš, Bolívie, Brazílie, Burkina Faso, Čína, Kolumbie, Německo, Rep. Kongo, Etiopie, Egypt, Německo, Řecko, Guayana, Indonésie, Indie, Írán, Kazachstán, Libanon, Maledivy, Nigérie, Nizozemsko, Pákistán, Filipíny, Rumunsko, Súdán, Turecko, Tunisko a Zambie.
Jak nás informovala paní Ioana Popescu, PhD, MSc, docentka hydroinformatiky, Katedra hydroinformatiky a sociálně-technických inovací, studenti se velmi zajímali o všechny prezentované aspekty a diskutovali dále se zástupci DHI. Ocenili milé přivítání v našich prostorách a zaujali je prezentace odborníků z Water in Cities, Warer Resources a Technology&Innovation. Jak zdůraznila paní Popescu, nadšení expertů DHI pro práci, kterou dělají, inspiruje studenty IHE, kteří by se jednou také chtěli stát experty ve svém oboru.
IHE students' visit at DHI in Prague
A group of students from IHE Delft Institute for water education visited DHI in Prague on June 1st, 2022. The group of students come from two Master study programmes; Hydroinformatics (18) and Erasmus Mundus Flood risk management (19). The number of countries we represented as a group are 28: Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, China, Colombia, De. Rep. of Congo, Ethiopia, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Guyana, Indonesia, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Maldives, Nigeria, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Philippines, Romania, Sudan, Turkey, Tunisia and Zambia.
As written by Mrs. Ioana Popescu, PhD, MSc, Associate Professor of Hydroinformatics, Department of Hydroinformatics and Socio-Technical Innovation, students were very much interested about all aspects presented and continued to talk and ask about DHI, more and more on their way back. They appreciated the kind welcome to our premises, being impressed by the presentations given by experts from WiC, WR and T&I. As Mrs. Popescu stressed, DHI experts’ enthusiasm for the work they do inspire IHE students, who would like to become like them one day.
