Celebrating EDB and DHI's R&D collaboration at Singapore International Water Week 2016

DHI Singapore and the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) are keen to celebrate their continued research and development (R&D) collaboration for the DHI Water & Environment Research Centre during the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2016. This R&D partnership is now in its third phase and will span the period from 2016 to 2019. Within the period, the research centre will focus on addressing the Smart Future of urban environments in achieving Singapore’s vision to becoming a Smart Nation.

In this phase of the collaboration, key strategic elements to the partnership will be directed to strengthening R&D efforts, in developing a sustained product cycle, in establishing the R&D centre as a technology and knowledge centre-of-excellence as well as to create a collaborative platform for Singapore companies and their European counterpart.

At the upcoming SIWW that will be held on 10-14 July 2016, DHI Singapore’s managing director, Stéphanie Groen, will participate in the Water Leaders Summit that includes in its list of participants, dignitaries, water authorities and representatives of water corporations all over the world.

DHI will also be taking part in the Danish Water Business Forum that will be held during SIWW to feature Danish expertise in the field of water technology and solutions for water, waste and city planning. Mr Esben Lunde, Danish Minister of Environment, together with Mr Morten Kabell, mayor of Technical and Environmental Affairs, Copenhagen, will grace the Forum.

On 11 July, we will be launching our all-new Drinking Water Assurance Programme for Singapore at our booth at #B2-U07 during SIWW at 11 am as well as a celebration for the success of Phase II of our R&D collaboration with the government of Singapore at 2pm. Throughout the whole week, we would also be launching our new MIKE Powered by DHI software suite that includes our new technology.

As Singapore is moving forward to realising its Smart Nation initiative, they are moving toward a more technologically-driven society. At DHI, we have doubled our efforts in providing an integrated data support system as well as superior technology with our knowledge and expertise, in-line with Singapore’s Smart Nation efforts.

Join us at SIWW 2016 for more information on how we support Singapore in its efforts.
