DHI's aquaculture expert elected President of World Aquaculture Society for Asia Pacific

Guillaume Drillet, Section Head, Ecological Processes and Aquaculture of DHI Singapore has been elected President of the World Aquaculture Society (WAS) for the Asia Pacific Chapter.

He will serve for three years from 2016 onwards – first as a President Elect, then as President and the final year as Past President. The appointment will officially commence in April 2016 at the WAS meeting in Surabaya.

The Asian Pacific Chapter of the World Aquaculture Society has about 200 members and aims to grow their presence and network in this region to achieve sustainable development of aquaculture throughout the world. Guillaume’s appointment  is a recognition of DHI’s current capabilities in the aquaculture business segment.
