We open a new office in Indonesia

Having now obtained our business registration approval from the Indonesian authorities, ‘PT DHI Water and Environment’ in Indonesia will thus be the newest member of DHI Group.

Indonesia is the world's fourth most populous country, with the second longest shoreline. It’s therefore a territory of great interest to us. Since the third quarter of 2007, we’ve actively developed the Indonesian market through our Singapore office. This demonstrated that there was indeed a large market potential for our services in Indonesia.

However, it has also showed that the market was difficult to service as a foreign corporation. Consequently, in order to develop our full potential in the Indonesian market, we decided in July 2013 to formally register an office in the country.

  Indra Djohar, who has been part of the DHI family for over seven years now, will be appointed as the Managing Director of DHI Indonesia, effective 1 June 2014. Indra’s excellent Business Development skills and his keen knowledge of the local business scene makes him an ideal candidate for leading DHI Indonesia, as it commences its developmental journey. Indra will be ably supported by a cadre of very capable Indonesian staff, now numbering eight. Technical support to the Indonesian operations will continue to be provided from Singapore and the rest of DHI Group.
