Nordic REACH Conference 2015

DHI welcomes you to the first Nordic REACH Conference.

The aim of the conference is to provide support to the European industry – with a focus on Nordic issues – in fulfilling their REACH obligations.  The event is organised in collaboration with the Danish Ministry of Environment (Danish EPA) and the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI). Nordic REACH Conference 2015 will take place on 23-24 September in Copenhagen.

It is not too late to sign up if you want to meet more than 100 colleagues from

The main topics of the conference are:

  • Guidelines for REACH registration before the 2018 deadline
  • Learnings from the REACH authorisations – do’s and don’ts

Authorisations are gaining speed and the list of substances for authorisation is growing. Consequently, a broader range of industries will need strategies and tools for decision making.

In addition to registrations and authorisations, topics like use of non-test methods to meet data requirements and endocrine disrupting chemicals will also be discussed.

The event is relevant for decision makers as well as scientific staff working with REACH in industries that manufacture or import chemicals. The conference will also target the challenges of small and medium-sized industries and will seek to provide guidance and information on how to navigate and comply with REACH.

To complement the event, we have organised a one-day IUCLID training course on 25 September 2015 for professionals working with identification, review and upload of registration data.

Hope to see you in Copenhagen.
